You're never too young to start!

I have a darling six year old niece who loves creating and who has a very arty and lovely mum. Every now and then I give my niece some bits and pieces of DSP and some punch pieces for cardmaking. This is a card she sent me as a thankyou. Isn't it beautiful??

Retiring Colours

The Paper Angels, the Stampin' Up! team I am part of, is meeting this weekend. We have design challenges and this time it is to make a card using retiring colours. I was going to try to use my favourites but couldn't decide, so I went for the lot. Like it? When I finished I realised I was two colours short! (Don't know which ones though!)

Baroque Motifs

One of the most versatile stamp sets I have is Baroque Motifs. I have used it for Christmas, birthdays, male cards, females cards. This particular card was inspired by Heather Nichols who has created many beautiful cards using kraft cardstock. I made it just a little shorter than a regular sized card.

Spy Business

My son and his best buddy are into spying (don't tell them I told you!) Of course, to be a spy, you need somewhere to record your notes. I found these notebooks at the Reject Shop for $1 each and covered them with

my son's colour choices. I found the little detective pic on the Internet and used three different sized circle punches: 104401 3.5 cm circle punch, 104403 3.2cm circle punch and 112004 4.4cm circle punch. The Timeless Type Junior Alphabet, run through the Big Shot helps to personalise the notebooks

Raspberry Tart Scallop Envelope Box

This is one of the projects from my June workshop made using the BIG SHOT Scallop Envelope die. I ran a travelling stamp-a-stack on Saturday night and so for the hostess, I made six matching gift cards and envelopes to fit into the box. I love the co-ordination of the whole set. Don't forget this DSP is on special until Tuesday.

Notes for Me!

I find that when I go to post something and want to add a note, I am often scrambling for something to write on! Me!? The stationery lover! So I sat down and made a bunch of these. I love the swirl behind the flower; it's from the Season of Joy stamp set, proving that it's a set that can be utilized all year 'round!

Masculine Medallion

I love the Medallion stamp in the current mini. One large stamp, but so versatile. I experimented with sponging around the edges of the Whisper White cardstock, using Soft Suede ink to match the card base.
