Darling Label Punch Box

Unfortunately the Darling Label Punch Box is retired but I would love to show you the projects we made this morning.

These darling tins went on the Clearance Rack earlier in the year (when Covid hit!) so I bought up 8 of them for a class.

The design below has a nifty fold out design.  The 6 x 6" DSP in the Brights colours was perfect for providing a variety of patterns and prints.

Whilst the punch is perfect for punching out whichever sentiment chosen, the 'thanks' below was fussy cut (because the punch would cut off the tips of the leaves.)

A colourful play with the punch created this card - the shape was punched out of all the brights and, because we needed 12 colours, we also used two 'bright' In Colours.

And the single sided notecard showed how you can use a floral stamp with a sentiment without using the sentiment.

We stamped the flowers repeatedly, making sure the 'thanks' sentiment was off the edge of the paper each time.  A great way to get more bang for your buck out of a stamp.

Did you know there are still great bargains on the Clearance Rack?  You can fund retired items at reduced prices by clicking HERE.

And September is a great time to join with our Get and Go Promotion.  $169 gets you $235 of product of your choice (even Clearance Rack goodies).  That's $66 of FREE product and FREE shipping and handing.

Prized Peony Class

Our most recent stamp-a-stack used the Prized Peony suite.   If you live on the Gold Coast and would like to come along to a class,  let me know!

The DSP uses only two colours - Gray Granite and Petal Pink.  I must admit that I haven't used Gray Granite but these cards made me fall in love with it.

These panels were cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  The scallop edge is one of the dies from the Peony dies.  (Love a good scallop!)

We played with our sponge brayers in Petal Pink ink for these cards.
Do you spy a faint border around the large stamped image.  That was created by cutting out the corresponding shape from the die set, laying it over the stamped image and brayering.

There's even a beautiful Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon as part of the suite.

This card showcases the suite perfectly with layers of DSP, the ribbon and the stamped image and sentiment.

And sometimes simplicity is the key.  We loved this clean and simple card using the Layering Scalloped Circles and the Stitched Shape Framelits.
