Onstage wrap up!

I have had a fabulous weekend at Stampin' Up! Onstage in Sydney.  Hundreds of demos from Australia gathered at at Luna Park to be inspired!

This is the wonderful team that ran the day.  Sara Douglass the CEO came you OUR event (that's Stampin' Up! royalty y'all!)

There is a special dinner on the Friday evening for demonstrators who are Silver Elite and above.  As this is SU!s 30th anniversary we dressed in the 80s theme.  This is me with Sara Douglass in my George Michael inspired t-shirt and stamp earrings.

We were treated to a talk by Sara (who looked super elegant unlike the rest of us!) and a delicious meal.

The next day day hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the Big Top function room.  Dress instructions were 'festive!'  Here's our table.

Everyone receives a bag containing a stamp set and a gift.  We were given these cute little light boxes!?

To celebrate SU!s 30th birthday we received celebratory cup cakes.

One of the fun parts of Onstage is preparing swaps.  I shared my own swaps in a previous blog post.

Here's the collection I got in return....

Check out this swap - from a fellow Paper Angel.  Isn't it gorgeous?  I love that there are strawberries at the bottom of the basket and one in the wine glass!  How cute is that?

I love catching up with my SU! buddies at these events - even the ones I see on a regular basis.

If you'd like to be part of the Stampin' Up! fun I would love you to join my team!

Give me a call on 07 55 765 469 or email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com for more info.

Onstage awaits!

Tomorrow I head off to Sydney for Stampin' Up!®  Onstage.  This is a wonderful whole day event for demonstrators where we are inspired by displays, demonstrations, business presentations and more.

Here's a sneak peek at a few things I have prepared for the day:

Demonstrators are encouraged to prepare swaps.  It's optional and you can prepare as many or as few as you wish.  At the start of the day, you meet other demonstrators and swap!

Here is my card:  made with Crumb Cake and Vellum plus the brown paper we receive in our orders.

We are also asked to include a 'recipe' on the back listing what we have used.

A few members of my team are coming along so I have prepared a little gift for them.

Stampin' Up! is 30 years old this year.  We have been asked to dress in a festive theme for the day so I have made sparkly earrings (and some for some team members...)

Looking forward to updating you on the fun of the day!

Thanks for stopping by!

Last Gasp - Sale-a-Bration

Last Saturday I held a pop up class - Last Gasp of Sale-a-Bration.  Despite the fact that I got the times wrong (been doing that a LOT lately!) I was in fact home when people arrived - and ready.  (I thought they were coming half an hour earlier!)

Sale-a-Bration finishes at the end of the month so I wanted to remind them of what they could get for FREE (and also remind you!)

Two of the most popular items from the first release are Party Pandas and the gorgeous Tutti Frutti notecards.  They partner perfectly to contrast the colourful with the black and white!

By far the most popular item in the second release is the Springtime Foil DSP.  Yummy!  For this card we brayered it with Basic Gray Archival Ink which really makes the metallics pop.

I love this DSP so much that we used it on another card which also featured the Blossoming Basket Bundle.  This bundle is free with a $180 order and featured the gorgeous flowers in a basket stamp set and the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder.

The centre flower was stamped and fussy cut then popped up on Dimensionals.  We added some Wink of Stella and tiny pearls to finish off.  I love this card!

The last stamp set we played with was Eclectic Expressions.  This is one of those fun stamp sets where you build up the images on top of one another and the results are beautiful and soooo versatile.

To view the 1st and 2nd release SAB items, it's best to view the PDF by clicking HERE.

Stampin' Up! has also announced a 3rd release of products.  These are existing items from the catalogue but during SAB you can earn them for FREE.

If you would like to order online, please visit my online store by clicking HERE.  Use the hostess code MFFTTAAC in your shopping basket.

Or drop me an email at wheatonanna@hotmail.com or phone me on 07 55 765 469.

Sale-a-Bration ends in two weeks!

Our most fantastic promo of the year ends in just two weeks.

To finish strong, Stampin' Up! has released a 3rd round of SAB offerings.  All SAB items are still available and these extras are catalogue products that might just be on your wish list...

One of the beautiful second release products is the Blossoming Basket Bundle.  So many of the samples show the basket coloured in but in my 'SAB Last Gasp' class tomorrow, we are making this card with NO COLOURING!  (not that I don't love to colour!)

This card uses the beautiful Springtime Foil Specialty DSP (another SAB item) and the Blossoming Basket stamp set - stamped in Soft Suede.  The middle flower is stamped again, fussy cut and popped up on dimensionals and then "Wink of Stella-ed" to give it that gorgeous shine.

And you might spy in the background the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder:  part of the Blossiming Basket Bundle FREE with a $180 spend during SAB.

If you'd like to place an order let me know.  You get freebees for every $90 spent.  And if you have a big wish list the best value is to JOIN UP!  It's a no brainer with more details HERE.

I would love you to join my team and I would LOVE  you to receive a great discount on your products every time you order!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Angels Team Day! A Classy Event

Twice a year I team up with my Stampin' Up!® buddy and fabulous friend Bec to run a combined team day.  And we invite others from our wider team along too!

Here's Bec and I.  We dress like this all the time and carry silver letters. #wheatbix

Our aim is to provide a day of fun and inspiration where demonstrators can get together and STAMP!

We held three sessions of make and takes....

We had a couple of information sessions...

Participants would join in swaps of card fronts and or 3D items.  Here's one attendee's collection of 3D swaps.

Here are the make and takes in their sets...

These cards, using the Truly Tailored stamp set, went from clean and simple, to stepped up, to and "Outside, Inside, Envelope" card.

A set of notecards in a box is always a winner...

And these cards explored a variety of techniques with one stamp.

All up we had a fabulous day of "funraising."

Don't forget that joining my team during Sale-a-Bration gives you two extra free stamp sets AND you'll become part of a fabulous group of women and join in fantastic evens like this one!

What would I choose for the Stampin' Up! Starter Kit?

The Stampin' Up!® joining offer is always fantastic value and it's even better during Sale-a-Bration.

You pay $169! And you can choose anything from any of the current catalogues.

Here's an idea of what I would choose as a beginner stamper.

A set of the newest In Color Ink Pads (#114081) $47.50

Add the matching cardstock pack (#144253)  $14.00 and you have a great colour range to start you off.
Some of our Whisper White card stock is a must - it's beautifully smooth and a dream to stamp on.
Whisper White A4 (#106549) for $15.75.

And then some Memento Black ink (#132708) for crisp images. It's just $10.
Our glue runner or 'snail' (#104332) as we call it is a fast and easy way to adhere layers of cardstock.  It's refillable and costs just $10.
Blender Pens (#102845) are a wonder for water colouring and can pick up the ink from any ink pad.  $21
And we all love our Stampin' Trimmer (#129722) for precision cutting and scoring.  It sells for $50.

That's $169 worth of product!  But for your $169 you get to choose $66 more so that your total of product reaches $235.

I would add Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for $8.
A pack of Whisper White Envelopes (#106588) for $11.50.

Every stamper's essential tool - a Bone Folder (#102300) for $12.

A pack of Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) for $6.

Paper Snips (#103579) for $17 - super sharp and perfect for fussy cutting.

And to embellish, some Linen Thread (#104199) for $8.00.

All of these items come in under $235 AND I get free shipping!

But wait, there's more!  During Sale-a-Bration I can also choose two stamp sets....for FREE!

I would go for the Letters for You stamp set (#141968) valued at $85 (but FREE for you!).  It's great for all sorts of occasions and to personalise cards and envelopes.

And the wonderful Petal Palette stamp set (#145788) which is worth $61.

Both of these stamp sets have matching framelits which I could add to my next order and receive 20% off!

All up my order contains goodies totalling $376! and I have paid $169.

Don't forget that you can choose ANYTHING you like for you starter kit and free stamp sets.  The offer is fully customisable.

The joining offer runs all year but the two extra stamp sets are only during Sale-a-Bration which runs till the end of March.  If you are interested in joining, you can jump online and join my team by clicking this link or copying and pasting it into your browser.

And of course if you have any questions please fell free to email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com or phone me on 07 55 765 469.

Below are some FAQs from a previous blog post!

Does joining sound scary?  I assure you it's not.  Here's some FAQs.

Q:  What do I get in my Starter Kit?
A:  Anything you want - make up a list of products you would like up to $235 from the NEW catalogue.  You pay $169.  A great way to get a HUGE discount!  During Sale-a-Bration you also choose two extra stamp sets (go for some biggies!) for FREE!  If you
just want to order the starter kit, that’s fine.  Stop there if you want.

Q:  What happens after that?
A:  A brown box of fun stuff will arrive at your door about a week later.  And then you start playing.  Yippee!!

Q:  Do I have to sell a lot of products?
A:  Nope.  It’s up to you.  Many people sign up as Hobby Demonstrators - i.e. for the discount.  That's why I signed up originally.  You can purchase for yourself  or sell to friends and family.  As little or as much as you like.  If you want to try to sell more widely that's up to you.  You can try running classes or parties if you want. I will help you with this if you like.

Q:  What happens if I don't sell anything?
A:  Nothing:  there are no penalties for stopping or dropping.  If you were to sign up during Sale-a-Bration, you would have till the end of July to enjoy a 20% discount on any products.  If you buy/sell enough, you will then be an active demonstrator for the
next quarter.  If you don't purchase or sell anything more, that's fine.  It really is up to you!

Q:  Why join?
A:  Cardmaking and scrapbooking are two of the best hobbies in the world!  By signing up to Stampin' Up! you become part of generous welcoming family of like minded people.  You are also welcome to be part of my team activities.  For me, it's my job and I have made so many friends and had so many wonderful experiences! I would love you to join my team!
