A happy Saturday had by all

Hi Folks

My blogging has been poor of late as I have been busy preparing for yesterday!  We held a charity day to raise money for Hummingbird House.  We will be providing them with memory keeping materials and equipment to help families record special moments.

Here's a bunch of random shots to give you a feel of how the day went!

We will be providing Hummingbird House with Stampin' Up!s Memories and More albums.  We had one on display along with some Hummingbird House pamphlets

Funds are raised from our fantastic raffle with products donated by Stampin' Up!

We display lots of samples to give attendees inspiration and ideas.  Thanks Jenny for your Sale of the Century hand waving.

One of fabulous team member Maree prepared loads of delicious food and picked up our Subway lunch!

See her clever use of Stampin' Up! products on her signs.

And there was an enormous amount of fun to be had.  Caroline ran the lucky door prizes.

We made a heap of fabulous projects.

My hubby and son pitched in with the heavy lifting and raffle ticket selling.  (That's two different jobs - the raffle tickets weren't that heavy!)

Here's Isabella working away, assisted by Jennifer.

Caroline and Kirsten ran a table together.

And there was lots of fun and sillyness!

Thanks everyone for my flowers and thanks Angela for being such a super  help.  Really couldn't do these things without you!

And even the clean up was fun!!

Thanks to everyone who was involved in the fantastic and fun day.  It took a group of volunteers to prepare all the bits and pieces for the kits and then to run the day!  It's not something you can do alone.

All up we have raised $527 fro Hummingbird House.  This is the result of the raffle proceeds and two outside donations of $100 and $50.  Well done us!!

Thanks everyone who contributed.

Onstage wrap up!

I have had a fabulous weekend at Stampin' Up! Onstage in Sydney.  Hundreds of demos from Australia gathered at at Luna Park to be inspired!

This is the wonderful team that ran the day.  Sara Douglass the CEO came you OUR event (that's Stampin' Up! royalty y'all!)

There is a special dinner on the Friday evening for demonstrators who are Silver Elite and above.  As this is SU!s 30th anniversary we dressed in the 80s theme.  This is me with Sara Douglass in my George Michael inspired t-shirt and stamp earrings.

We were treated to a talk by Sara (who looked super elegant unlike the rest of us!) and a delicious meal.

The next day day hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the Big Top function room.  Dress instructions were 'festive!'  Here's our table.

Everyone receives a bag containing a stamp set and a gift.  We were given these cute little light boxes!?

To celebrate SU!s 30th birthday we received celebratory cup cakes.

One of the fun parts of Onstage is preparing swaps.  I shared my own swaps in a previous blog post.

Here's the collection I got in return....

Check out this swap - from a fellow Paper Angel.  Isn't it gorgeous?  I love that there are strawberries at the bottom of the basket and one in the wine glass!  How cute is that?

I love catching up with my SU! buddies at these events - even the ones I see on a regular basis.

If you'd like to be part of the Stampin' Up! fun I would love you to join my team!

Onstage awaits!

Tomorrow I head off to Sydney for Stampin' Up!®  Onstage.  This is a wonderful whole day event for demonstrators where we are inspired by displays, demonstrations, business presentations and more.

Here's a sneak peek at a few things I have prepared for the day:

Demonstrators are encouraged to prepare swaps.  It's optional and you can prepare as many or as few as you wish.  At the start of the day, you meet other demonstrators and swap!

Here is my card:  made with Crumb Cake and Vellum plus the brown paper we receive in our orders.

We are also asked to include a 'recipe' on the back listing what we have used.

A few members of my team are coming along so I have prepared a little gift for them.

Stampin' Up! is 30 years old this year.  We have been asked to dress in a festive theme for the day so I have made sparkly earrings (and some for some team members...)

Looking forward to updating you on the fun of the day!

Thanks for stopping by!
