New Round of Stamp Club!

Hi Everyone

I have a new round of Stamp Club starting up in January.

January sees the start of our new Occasions Catalogue and the start of Sale-a-Bration!

What is it?  Six people join my stamp club for six months.  You must commit for 6 months to be fair on everyone involved.  This club runs from January to June.

If you like to place monthly orders, then perhaps Stamp Club is for you....

What does it involve?

· Every month for six months you need to place a minimum order of $50.  The order must be placed with me in person, by phone, online or by email between the 1st and the 15th of the month.

· Each month one of the stamp club members receives the hostess benefits from the combined orders.  ($300 of orders gets you $30 in free products plus a bonus $5 from me.)  Some months may include extra hostess benefits from SU!  Most months, the hostess gets more than this as I add in extra orders I receive!

· When you receive your order from me it will contain a “create pack” with free samples OR a simple project with instructions OR a thank you gift.

The Fine Print

· The hostess order is in order of joining.  If you are one of the first three to sign up, you will get Sale-a-Bration benefits also.

· Each order you place each month must reach $50 (if you place a $70 order one month, the balance does not carry over to the next month.)

· In the month that you are hostess you may add to your order or hold a party if you wish to achieve greater benefits.

· Your $50 or more order per month will incur a 5% postage charge.  Minimum spend per month is  therefore $52.50.  Minimum spend over six months is $315.

What’s in it for you?

· At least $35 of free product in the month that you are hostess

· FREE product samples/bonus projects/thank you gifts with your order each month

· FREE Annual catalogue or reduced entry into any catalogue launches during the cycle

· A FREE $20 class of your choice in the six month cycle

If you would like to join, club kicks off in January.  Please let me know in person, by phone (07 55765 469)  or by email wheatonanna@hotmail.com

More 'Onstageness' with Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up!® held their Onstage event on November 11.  The name doesn't really tell you all that much but it's a convention of sorts for demonstrators.  We get to do some business training, mixing and mingling, make and takes, creative presentations.  It's a fantastic shot in the arm and you walk out of there felling inspired to get on with....well...everything!  This time round I got to PRESENT!!  I was so excited to be asked, a little nervous beforehand and then surprisingly calm during!

Here's me.  See?  Calm.  With a big bag of stuffing in front of me.

I was sent a box of all the components of Silver Soiree - a megasuite coming in the January catalogue.  I got to play with it ahead of everyone else and make a bunch of samples.  These were put on a board for everyone to ogle or yawn over.  Here's what I made....

This one has photographed drunk - not sure why it is leaning over.

3" x 3" notecards...

This was my fave - I love clean and simple.

A new shimmer embossing paste is coming!

Don't you love the detail in the cake stand (above) and the tags (below).

Single sided notecards are one of my favourite things to make.

If you would like to know a little more about the excitement of being a demonstrator, contact me and I will explain all!

Centrestage and Onstage - a celebration of demonstrators

This past weekend has been a blast!  Stampin' Up!® treat us (although we pay, we get such great value) to a fabulous event called Onstage all day Saturday and Centrestage on Friday night.

Centrestage is a special training and dinner for demonstrators who are Silver Elite and above.

Here's me with my buddy Bec.  We swap all sorts of business ideas and work together on events.

And Angela who is in my team, has had the most amazing Stampin' Up! year and has achieved the Incentive trip to Alaska.

The tables are always beautifully styled.

And there's Holly from the Home Office giving us some business tips.

I didn't want to be one of those people who photographs all their food, but just wanted to show you dessert.  the food was magnificent.

Saturday is Onstage - hundreds of demonstrators gathered at the Gold  Coast Convention Centre for a day of creative and business inspiration.  This is such a fun day - we get to hang out with stamping friends and be inspired by a company that has such a positive message.

On arrival we receive the Onstage bag and a lanyard.  There are also ribbon strips to attach which show your achievements for the year.

The tables are set up to look fabulous with strict 'no peeking' instructions.

Scott from the home office had us raising our SU! mugs and shouting gidday.  We educated him on Aussie Aussie Aussie as the day progressed.

And I got to present!  I was privileged to be asked to showcase one of the suites from the new catalogue.  I was up on stage at Onstage (see what I did there!?)

And if that wasn't exciting enough, I got to walk across stage for achieving the Alaskan Cruise and then....this happened.

I received TWO awards - one for recruiting and one for overall performance!!  Yowsa!  Number 4 in both.

A card signed by Shelli and Sara.

When I joined SU! I used to watch other demonstrators achieve amazing milestones, never imagining that I would be up there one day!

This is a wonderful company and they treat their demonstrators so well, celebrating and recognizing them in fabulous ways.  If I can do it,anyone can!

I will be booking my flights for the next Onstage (in Sydney) and then for the next event.  They are so much fun and a great shot in the arm for inspiration.

If you are interested in finding out more about being a demonstrator, give me a call on 07 55 765 469 or email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com

Swaps and Gifts at Onstage 2017

Every six months we are treated by Stampin' Up!® to a fantastic day of creative and business inspiration called Onstage.  This time round, one of the venues was on the Gold Coast, so I had a good number of my team attend.  I can't show you any of the sneak peeks yet....

Part of the fun of Onstage is creating swaps.  It's optional but a great way to meet people.  Design something - usually a card front, and make as many as you want, then swap with others.  This time round I made a scissor charm using the Up and Away Thinlits.

Twenty-five swaps means you get twenty-five ideas in return and you meet twenty-five people.  I actually have only 22 swaps because I gave away some of mine!

Stampin' Up! is such a generous company and that is infectious.  I gave a gift to everyone in my team who attended.

I dressed up some Mini Pizza Boxes in lorikeet colours because we are the Lorikeet Stampers.

Inside were some lorikeet chocolates and a little dangle with their initial on it.

And one of the lovely gifts I received was this beautiful thank you card from Stampin' Up!  I was privileged to present on Saturday which I loved and this was thank you.

Stampin' Up! has brought so many positives into my life and it was lovely to share that thrill with others on Saturday.

If you want to know more about the joys of being an SU! demonstrator, please contact me.  I have heaps to tell!

More about Onstage in future posts!

Thanks for stopping by.

Year of Cheer DSP - too much metallic in one pack!

Have you spotted this DSP in the Holiday Catalogue?  It's called Year of Cheer and it co-ordinates
with so many metallic products.  I love the new Champagne Foil too.  In our most recent class we created a set of beautiful cards with foil accents throughout.

This beautiful card was CASEd from Dena Rekow and uses the delicate sentiment from the Hearts Come Home stamp set.  That cute little row of houses is from the co-ordinating Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies.  Don't you love that Champagne Foil scallop circle?

Everybody loves the Silver and Gold Snowflakes.  They have been such a popular item from the Holiday Catalogue.

CASEd this one from Mary Fish - I loved how she created the three panels with that beautiful leafy pattern.

This one picked up the copper in the DSP in the copper circle and copper embossing of the sentiment.

All four cards and envelopes slid into a one of our Acetate Boxes which we decorated with a belly band and another DOILY!

We have so much fun making these cards and others during my classes.  I would love you to join me!

If you are interested in coming along to some of my card making classes, you can check my timetable HERE.

They are held in my home on the Gold Coast and I run several a month.  Contact me on 07 55 765 469 or email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com if you'd like to come along.

If you like shopping in your jammies, you can visit my online store where you can find the Year of Cheer DSP and all its fab accessories.
Be sure to use the Hostess Code AXQ6XZWR when you click into your shopping bag and I will send you a gift!!

I do say "Come Get Inky"

One of my regular classes is a technique class where we explore the how to of a particular type of card.  One of my customers requested the Northern Lights Technique and there was great interest!

We made four cards using Stampin' Up!®  inks and tools.

Clever masking with a post it note punched out with the circle punch creates this moon!  We used Smokey Slate, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant and Night of Navy inks.

This card was CASEd directly from a video linked below.

This one uses Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush and Pacific Point, sponged in diagonal worms across the card.  Then Night of Navy is sponged over the top so that just some of the colour peeks through.

You can find the instructions for this one in this video.

This one had diagonal stripes of bright colours which were then around using Night of Navy.

We added 'curtains' of Wink of Stella across the sky.

The last card was not the Northern Lights Technique, but got us just as inky.  This was the reflection technique where trees are stamped on the card, then on a piece of acetate which is flipped over and pressed onto the card stock to create the reflection.

I have this advertisement hanging up at my desk...  The photo of the ad does not do the colours justice - there's a beautiful mix of greens and yellows and whites which i must try for my next Northern Lights card.

If you are interested in coming along to some of my card making classes, you can check my timetable HERE.

They are held in my home on the Gold Coast and I run several a month.  Contact me on 07 55 765 469 or email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com if you'd like to come along.
