Some SAB Goodies

There are some wonderful things on offer during Sale-a-Bration.  So you remember the vellum stack from last year?  This year it's white vellum!

So pretty! Can you see the pattern in behind the coloured cardstock?

These treat holders are made using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and a new die from the Occasions catalogue.  It's called the Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits die.

You might like to check out Stampin' Up!s video below!

Don't forget that Sale-a-Bration is a great time to buy.  For every $90 you spend you get a FREE sale-a-Bration item (such as this vellum!)  Links to the current brochures are in the left hand column, or contact me for a hard copy.

Card For Troops - a thank you

I have received this card in the mail:

Look familiar?  If not a little fuzzy (sorry about that!)  One of you might have made this card in our Cards for Troops sessions - it has travelled all the way to the Middle East and has been sent back to us.

In case you can't make out the contents, it reads:

To the Lorikeet Stampers
My name is Hayley and I operate the Post Office over in the Middle East.  We would all like to thank you for the hand made Christmas cards.  They are absolutely beautiful.  I have your cards on display at the Post Office so everyone can see what a wonderful job you have done.
The only problem people have is trying to pick out of the many cards.  They end up walking out with a handful cause they can't decide on a favourite.
Thanks you again and have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year from the postie in the Middle East.

It's so lovely to get a letter or two and I am always amazed at where our cards end up.

Thank you to everyone who helped to create the cards we sent off.  We will be having more working bees this year!

Thanks for stopping by!

Botanical Builder Framelits dies

I haven't broken out the stamp set that goes with this die yet because I am loving the die on its own.  Here I played with the same design three different ways.

White on white....

Black on White

Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey on white

And another new product on show... We have a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush which you can paint on an image to give it a beautiful shimmer.  I used it on the third card.

The catalogue is packed with beautiful products.  To view on line go to www.stampinup.com.au and click on the covers.

Don't forget my catalogue launch - a chance to play with lots of new things and see samples!

Saturday January 30th, my place in Burleigh Waters, 9.30 till 11.30 or 2 till 4.

Email me for more details.

Although these products are available NOW I can't give you the links as I scheduled this post back in December.  I'll be back to blogging in real time soon.

Onstage Samples

In November I was lucky enough to go to Onstage Local in Melbourne.  At any of these Stampin' Up! events we always have Make and Take sessions.

This is so much fun because we get to play with the new stuff.

Each make and take was a component that we could then use on a card front or scrap booking page.

These products are available in the new Occasions Catalogue.  I will have a link on my blog when I am back but in the meantime you can view online at www.stampinup.com.au

Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Up! Balloon Builders

One of the EXCELLENT things about being a demonstrator is we get to go to fun events and we get free stuff.  In November, Angela (one of my stamping buddies) and I went to Melbourne for Onstage Local.  We saw new products and demonstrations and got the new catalogue ahead of time.  We also received a stamp set called Balloon Builders.

As the name suggests, it contains a whole lot of different balloon shapes that you can combine to make animals, flowers etc  Just like a balloon person in the mall but without all the blowing up!

But did I build?? No....well maybe in some other post.  One shape jumped out at me in a jelly beany kind of way and I made these:

I used a bunch of colours from the Brights family, as well as some Candy Dots.

And here's another idea, being more faithful to the balloon idea.

The new catalogue starts in TWO days!  Don't forget my launch.  This is a great way to see the products in action and try things out!

WHEN:  Saturday January 30th
WHERE:  My place in Burleigh Waters
TIME:  9.30 till 11.30 or 2 till 4.
COST:  $15 or $10 for Stamp Club members
