Crumbcake and Colour

Here is another card done at a recent Stamp-a-Stack, using some of the beautiful Mocha Morning Specialty DSP.  I saw this card on Just Add Ink, created by Tina Gillespie and loved the little splashes of colour.

It was a quick and easy card to put together - great if you want to whip up something at the last minute.

Blossom Punch

If you are a fan of SU! punches...and who isn't, you'll love the new Blossom Punch in the Autumn-Winter Mini.

It matches the Mixed Bunch stamp set which has three flower designs and three co-ordinating centres, making it super easy to assemble a beautiful card in moments.

Stamps:  Mixed Blossom, Curly Cute
Card:  Lucky Limeade, Whisper White, Red Riding Hood DSP Paper Stack
Ink:  Island Idaho, Riding Hood Red
Tools:  Blossom Punch

Elegant Bird

Another swap I received showcased the Elegant Bird Bigz Die.  There have been some fantastic examples of this die in cyberspace, incuding some beautiful wedding decorations.

The bird is made using the Twitterpated DSP with the background created using Apothecary Art.  The rosette in the middle of the bird is made using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.  Any project requiring folding or creasing is made easier using this fantastic new product.

Apothecary swap

This is one of the beautiful sets from the new mini - Apothecary Art.  The stamps set co-ordinates with the Framelits Labels Collection, making it sooooo easy to cut out that beautiful shape using the Big Shot.  The flower images are adorable and can be coloured in or left plain.

The set comes with two sentiments - Happiest Birthday which you see above or So Grateful or use the sentiments from Loving Thoughts which also co-ordinate.  Check out the new catalogue by clicking on the icon on the left side bar.  You'll love it!

DSP Wow

Here's a great example of how a new DSP can really make an impact using punches or the Big Shot.

These pretty flowers are cut out using the Floral Fusion die and the Twitterpated DSP from the new mini.  Again this is a swap done by another demonstrator, who unfortunately, I can't credit because she hasn't put her name on the card.

Love the sentiment?  It's also from the new catalogue and the set is called Loving Thoughts.

Stamps:  Loving Thoughts
Card:  Confetti White, Whisper White, Island Indigo, Twitterpated DSP
Ink:  Island Indigo
Tools:  Floral Fusions Sizzlit die, Big Shot
Accessories:  Basic Rhinestones, Island Indigo Baker's Twine

More White Space

Another swap using products from the Autumn-Winter Mini.   Again, this is a lovely card with plenty of white space.

The scallops are created using our new Edgelits dies, a Big Shot accessory.  The words are from Loving Thoughts.  If you liked the Baker's Twine in the Summer Mini, you'll love the new colours SU! have introduced.  The five 2011-2013 In Colors are available and this card features Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine.

Some new mini swaps

I'm back!  Have been away on holidays and then enjoying some time doing very little.  My cardmaking mojo is back but I thought I'd share with you some cards that I received in a recent swap.

We have said a sad goodbye to the Summer Mini but been cheered up by the arrival of the Autumn-Winter Mini.  Below is a sample from the new goodies on offer.

I love this card - I love simple designs with plenty of white space.  This swap was done by a craft group (one lady coloured thirty of the pinatas!) and is a CASE of a card designed by Dawn Olchefske.

Have you checked out the new Autumn Mini Catalogue?  The pinata is an image in the Packed For Birthday stamp.  You can buy this stamp for $16.95 or buy all four "Packed For..." stamps for $50.95.  The sentiment is from Curly Cute.

I will show you a few more swaps over the next few posts but in the meantime, make sure you check out the Autumn Winter catalogue by clicking on the image on the left side bar...or click HERE.

Easter Class Gifts - Top Note Purses

Instead of a lucky door prize at my recent class, I gave everyone these as an Easter gift.  This is a cute idea I found on Becky Roberts' site.  The instructions can be found here.

I used the wonderful free SAB papers and brads and their co-ordinating colours.  I used our smallest cello bags to hold the eggs.

These would make a cute birthday treat or Christmas gift too.

Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Card:  Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Everyday Enchantment DSP
Ink:  Soft Suede
Tools:  Big Shot, Top Note die, Sizzlits Floral Fusion die
Accessories:  Ruffled Ribbon in Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Small Cello Bags, Everyday Enchantment Brads
