Birthdays and glitter

Once again my inspiration has come from Pinterest...and from Stampin' Up!s Perfect Pennants stamp set.

I saw a fantastic idea on Pinterest which was an acceptance into university.  It contained a bag of glitter.  I decided to use this idea to make a card.

The outside of the card is pretty simple.....

But inside the card is this...

Something a little different!

Scallop Tag Topper Punch

This week we are doing a class using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  I have made these cuties as a Lucky Door Prize.

The beauty of this punch is that you can make gift tags of any size so these are cute little short ones.

My plan was to put them in one of those large match boxes but they turned out to be a smidgen too wide so I put them in a cello bag.

Pinteresting

I find a lot of inspiration on Pinterest.  These cards were inspired by one from a German blog called  Papierverliebt.

I loved the use of the solid images from Perfect Pennants.  That star!  That heart!

Envelope Punch Board Card Number....

For this Envelope Punch Board card, I used a Patty Bennett EPB card as inspiration.  Patty has a fantastic video on how to make this card.

This card is in the form of a pocket which is sealed up each side.

Inside the pocket is a single layer card for writing on.  Cute hey?

  • Get an easy vintage look with our Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel.  This is such a beautiful image and so easy to roll onto your cardstock..
  • The sentiment is from a retired stamp set but is punched out with our Label Bracket Punch which has carried over from the previous mini catalogue.
  • Sponge it!  I sponged around the edge of the Happy Birthday to tie it in with the vintage feel.
  • The Envelope Punch Board is only $31.95!  That's fantastic value.
  • The 'tab' is made using the Artisan Label Punch.
If you would like to order the Envelope Punch Board or anything else, please email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com or phone 55 765 469.  If you want to shop at my online store you can click on the product links below.

Another Envelope Punch Board Card

Have you tried the Envelope Punch Board yet???  I might call it the EPB.  It has become my buddy.

We made this card using some DSP from last year's SAB offerings.  In file folder style it opens with the fold at the bottom.

  • The file folder tabs are made using the EPB!
  • That Rich Razzleberry ribbon is a spotted ribbon; I have just turned it so that the spots are face down.  I thought the spots would have been too much
  • I stamped the Make a Wish sentiment in two colours, popping the 'a' out using the 1/2" circle punch.
  • Love banners?  The orange background banner is made using the new banner dies.
  • Love bundles?  The Perfect Pennants stamp set and co-ordinating Banners Framelits are available in a bundle for 15% off.

Envelope Punch Board Lucky Door Prize

I think the envelope punch board is a fantastic tool.  My mind boggles that someone came up with the idea in the first place.  I ran a class making cards and envelopes with this tool and this was the lucky door prize.

The envelope was made of Crumbcake cardboard with one of the sides/flaps left 'unscored'.  Inside was a little card, decorated with washi tape and punched with the punch board to create a file tab.

You can slip this out and write a little message.

The butterfly on the front is punched from our new Fancy Foil Designer Vellum which has gold spots and stripes.  Gorgeous!
