Stamp Club Teeny Tiny Gift

Each month my stamp club ladies get a few goodies with their orders - product samples, some Big Shot cut outs etc.

This month I made up a little cello bag containing Frosted Sequins and an All is Calm Snowflake Embellishment - because these things always look even better in real life!

The cello bag was decorated with Washi Tape from the All is Calm range and stamped with the Festival of Trees stamp set.

Festival of Trees is one of our new Photopolymer stamp sets which makes it super easy to line up the images.

If you would like to be part of my Stamp Club and earn hostess freebees, please contact me for details.

Continuing on a Theme

I made some Super Simple Thank You cards the other week which you can see HERE.

The Work of Art stamp set has such fantastic images to work with - it's one of the best sets in the current catalogue in my opinion.  So I continued on the theme with these cards.

This was my original idea....

And then I made these...

A quick-to-make collection of cards.

  • Each card is made with a Very Vanilla base then a 14.3 x 10 cm layer - this gives the cards a bit more weight.
  • For each card I used a light and dark ink.  Wisteria Wonder and Blackberry Bliss, Pear Pizazz and Mossy Meadow etc.  If the ink colour for the 'swish' is too dark, stamp off once on a piece of scrap to lighten it.
  • Look through your sentiments.  I used sentiments from three different card sets to make this collection.
  • Embellish!  I used punched images, buttons and rhinestones to add an extra something to each card.  Our Linen Thread can be separated into two fine pieces, wrapped around your fingers and glue dotted behind an embellishment for that extra touch.  I saw the Grateful for You card on Chic n Scratch done this way.

If I Had a Dollar

I saw this on another demonstrator's blog and thought it rather funny.  For me, substitute 'card making' for 'scrapbooking'!

Cards for our Soldiers

On Thursday I had a Cards for Troops workshop at my house.  Eight ladies attended and some who couldn't attend sent along cards and envelopes.

This is what we did....

Eight ladies made 160 cards!  And they looked like this:

And people like Maree who couldn't come sent along cards like this:

Add the cards we made on Thursday and the cards that were made at a few other events and we have 260 cards!

Thanks so much to everyone who has contributed.  More cards are welcome - I will be sending them off mid October.
