Nifty Gifts

Here are the projects from my most recent class.  We always do a gifts class in the lead up to Christmas and it's fun seeking out things to package.

Using our Clear Tiny Treat Boxes and the Delicate Lace Dies we created these Lindt Chocolate Ball holders.  A thin strip of Silver Glimmer paper added some Christmas sparkle.

Y'all know I am a Mini Pizza Box fan and these are in the Holiday Catalogue.  We decorated them with Wrapped in Plaid DSP from the Holiday catalogue.

I showed the ladies that it's easy to create a custom sized box for a small gift by measuring it up on your grid paper.  This box is designed to hold a Baileys, a Whittakers Chocolate bar, a coffee stick and a hot chocolate sachet.

Our Copper Tea Tins come in a pack of four and work our at about $6.50 each.  We decorated these with the Brightly Gleaming DSP (because it has copper accents!!) and the Christmas Gleaming stamp set.

And this cute little project is specially measured to hold four Merci chocolates from Aldi. It's such a cute little gift and very inexpensive to put together.  There is an instruction video on YouTube by Barb Reed which you can watch by clicking HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!  If you are interested in my classes, I run them in Burleigh Waters, Queensland, Australia.  I would love you to come along.

Painted With Love DSP

Of all the Designer Series Papers that Stampin' Up!® has released, this has to be one of my favourites.  And it's a specialty DSP which means it is heavier weight.

I made this box recently using one of the fabulous foil sides (one side incorporates gold foil), the other side is 'plain' but not in any way 'plain'!  It holds some Darryl Lea Licorice Bullets.  Yum!

So easy to measure and score using the Stampin' Up! Trimmer.

This DSP is $21 for 12 scrumptious sheets.  You can order it through my online store or by emailing me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com.

Don't forget that it is Sale-a-Bration time!  Every $90 you spend gets you a FREE Sale-a-Bration item.

Bingo, Brownies and Brand New Goodies Part 2

More launch piccies!

One of my favourite things to do, if you didn't know already, is to dress up the prizes for an event!  I love putting things in cello bags and decorating them.  Not only does it look pretty, it shows everyone new ways to use products and gives them inexpensive ideas for gifts!

Stampin' Up!® Seasonal Layer Thinlits used in the colours to co-ordinate with the enamel shapes.

These were table favours for everyone - Smarties in our cello bags, showcasing the Daisy Delight Bundle.

A simple tag using the Daisy Punch and our new Faceted Gems...

These spools of twine were dressed up using the Eastern Palace Bundle

And our new Angel Policy stamp set is Crafting Forever and includes the saying "Do Something Creative Every Day."  Wise advice!

Lastly these retired and extremely sought after embellishments were prettied up with another of the thinlits from Seasonal Layers - I love the delicate maple leaf.  I cut it out in silver - which doesn't quite show in the pic.

If you are interested in purchasing any of these items, contact me to order by email wheatonanna@hotmail.com or phone 0755765469.

Alternately you can order them in my online store by clicking on each hyperlink.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoying pretty things!

Paper Angel Prize Patrol

On Saturday we had a Paper Angels Team Day.  One of the wonderful aspects of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is the friendships that are formed and the fun we have together.  Our team day was all about that.

Anyone who has ever been to a Stampin' Up! event knows that part of the excitement comes in the form of Prize Patrol.  So Bec and I did it on a smaller scale.

I love, LOVE, LOVE!! dressing up items in fancy packaging (it's a great way to showcase the products too) so this was my job.

We gave away the Seasonal Decorative Masks which I decorated with the Paisleys and Posies suite.

The Pretty Paisleys Embossing Folders, decorated with the Christmas Pines Thinlits and Presents and Pinecones DSP.

And the Fancy Frost Sequins, decorated with the Fancy Frost Specialty DSP.

If you are interested in finding out how to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and joining my team, let me know!  We are a very active bunch with team meetings and activities for the community.

It costs $169 to join which gives you $235 product to play with and a business package.

Tag Love

I've been packaging up my sister's birthday present this weekend and using some new products from the Holiday catalogue.

The Cheerful Tags Framelits Dies are so very cute, cutting and scoring the tag shapes.  One is designed especially to hang over a bottle neck.

Here's the other one which I have paired (no pun intended) with the Fruit Stand DSP.  The strawberries are cut out of the DSP!

There are also plenty of packaging options in the catalogue.   These White Gift Boxes have an acetate sleeve which slides over them.

And to complete the look I added some strawberry flowers to the sides of the box.  These are set off nicely with our Enamel Dots.  Scrummy!

Love our enamel dots?  They are on special this week!  Check them out here.

Christine's Gift

In my last post I showed you card I received from customers.  Here's a quick post to show you a beautiful basket given to me by a customer.

It's a beautiful little basket holding six Ferrero Rocher chocolates which we haven't eaten yet!!!

I think this is a design we will have to try in a future class.

Packaging at the ready

One of the fun things about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that I have all the goodies on hand to pretty up a present.  (My son doesn't understand why school friends don't have cardboard at the ready for school projects.)

I packaged up some gifts for mailing and while the reindeer paper isn't SU!, everything else is.

I wrapped the presents in the brown paper that protects our orders then created a belly band with the reindeer paper.  It looked a little bare so I added our rhinestones to each reindeer nose.  Did you know that you can colour our rhinestones with a sharpie?

My dilemma then became how to protect the rhinestones.

Our gusseted cello bags came to my rescue.  Tied up with our silver ribbon and with a tag added, created using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch.

Easy peasy.

Products used are listed below.  Click on them to go to my online store.

A Special Gift

My son has a fantastic piano teacher.  Her lessons are great and she is very patient.  AND she has two cats.

When I was in Melbourne for Stampin' Up!s Onstage, I saw the perfect present.  This tea towel was at the hand made markets and was covered in piano cats. Catianos?

Stampin' Up!s Tag a Bag Boxes were the perfect solution to the wrapping dilemma.  These are so useful to have in a drawer because they are so easy to dress up.

The acetate sleeve has been run through the Big Shot using the Large Polka Dot Impressions Folder.  Then I made a belly band with Cherry Cobbler cardstock and some Home for the Holidays DSP.  The tag is cut from Very Vanilla using the Chalk Talk Framelits and tied on with Mossy Meadow ribbon.

A wrap up.

A short post today!

If you have bits of DSP lying around at home, dig it out and use it on your Christmas gifts.

Here I have wrapped a soap in brown paper then added a band of the Home For Christmas DSP.  Co-ordinating Mossy Meadow ribbon tops it off.

Last Gasp - Part 2.

Here are the other two projects we made in our last class of the year.

Did you know that Stampin' Up!s Café bags are food safe?  That makes them ideal for bagging up Christmas cookies, rum balls etc.

We decorated one by running it through the Big Shot using the Boughs and Berries Embossing Folder.  Then we added Christmas bling!

And our last project was a cute Elf Fry box.  Christmas is all about shiny stuff so the red collar is made with our Red Foil.

Do you like that belt buckle?  The two punches used to make that are retired but BOTH are on sale in the Clearance Rack!  Look for the Petite Curly Label Punch and the Little Labels Punch Pack.

For a lucky door prize, I wrapped some chocolates to go inside the boxes. Sorry the pic is fuzzy.  I can't retake it because I have given the prize away!

But I can show you the elf hat close up.  I found this on Becky Roberts' blog.

The hat is made using the Christmas Tree Punch, the green is hand cut and the ears are the Bird Builder Punch.  They are glued onto one of our Stampin' Up! Wooden Clothespins.

Super Simple Christmas idea

Here's a really easy way to make a bunch of Christmas gifts - you know when you want a small gift that is not too expensive?

I made these for my ladies attending the final class for the year.

These are paper tubes made out of DSP, stapled at each end, then embellished with all things Christmas.

I used the Season of Cheer DSP and our cute Reindeer Paper Clips along with the Real Red Pom Pom Trim.

Cut your DSP to suit the size of the treat.  I bought these Santas at Coles.

Don't leave it too late to order your supplies for Christmas cards and gifts!

Little Gifts

Long time, no post.  School holidays really throw me out of my routine, much as I love them.

It's so easy to put a little sparkle into someone's day with some cute wrapping ideas.

Our Stampin' Up! orders come packed with brown paper which makes great wrapping paper!  Stamp it, brayer it or leave it plain.

Here I have added some Farmers Market DSP, a doily and a stamped sentiment from Tin of Cards.  Love that Blackberry Bliss ink.

And here is another cute little idea - choccies from Aldi wrapped I some DSP.  I kept these ones simple but you could add ribbon, a punched shape or a stamped sentiment.

And yes, there were sixteen in the pack.  Can't for the life of me think where the 16th one went!

Gift Bag Punch Board

Last week's class was a bunch of projects made using the Gift Bag Punch Board.  I used a set  of instructions designed by Erica Cerwin.

The little gift box below is too cute and it is the perfect size to fit our mini cards.

We used the Everyday Chic DSP and Blushing Bride or Bermuda Bay cardstock.

We didn't get to make the cards as part of the class but I made these recently as a gift for one of my hostesses.

Did you know that you can have a Stampin' Up! party in your home?  I can come to you and demonstrate products and give your customers a free make and take.

Please contact me if you would like to share the magic of stamping with your friends.
