Myths and Magic Await!

There were audible squeals at Stampin Up!® Onstage when this stamp set and all its co-ordinating products were revealed.  Who doesn't love a great set for kids??  And who doesn't love a bit of magic?  The suite oozes with sparkle in the washi tape, DSP and Glimmer Paper.

I had a play with our Shimmer White cardstock and Aqua Painters to achieve the watercolor splashes behind.

My mermaid also uses Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes (page 33 of the Occasions catalogue) for her water bubbles.  And as in type the name of that product I have only JUST realised that one sheet is clear and the other is GLITTER!!!  I didn't know there were GLITTER shapes!?

Wizard deserved watercolouring over his whole cardfront.  Do you recognise that magic dust?  It's from the amazing Star of Light Christmas stamp set.

My niece is a big unicorn fan!  If only this set were around when she was smaller.  Not that that will stop me making her a unicorn card!!

Loving these cards?  The clear mount bundle for this set is $80.  Add the washi tape and you earn a free Sale-a-Bration item.  Yippeee!

There are other fabulous products in the suite which you can view HERE.

If you would like to order online, please use the Host Code A6RJESSE in the shopping basket.

Kids' Cards

In our most recent card class we made cards for kids.  Over the years I have learnt to try to create cards to suit kids of all ages, rather than just for really little kids.  Now we need to have a 'really little kids' class.

We made 9 cards - three each of three designs.

The ladies loved "No Bones About It."

And  this was the first time I had used Build a Birthday.

Fun flowers...

And we also used Big News, made bright and beautiful when paired with Schoolhouse DSP.

Arrr Me Hearties.

The Occasions Catalogue is all about...Occasions.  One such an occasion coming up is Valentine's Day - a bigger deal in the U.S. where SU! originates than here.  I couldn't go past this little guy though.  Coz' he can be used for other things!

His sentiment is "Valentine, you're a treasure" but I covered that with a post it and added a happy Birthday instead.

I had fun colouring him with my Blendabilities.  The treasure chest is actually coloured with Cherry Cobbler but it looks brown enough.

Another Curvy Keepsake

For this week's weekly deals click HERE.

I am sure when SU! releases some of their products, they have no idea how many ideas will come from it.  There are people out there brimming with creativity...and there are people out there CASEing their creativity.  (That would be me!)

I saw this cute little guy on Pinterest and had to try him out.  He is so easy to make with a few punches.

Wouldn't little kids love this at their place setting or at a party?

Too cute for words!

Eek! I have a teen

Quick post!  I made this card for my boy who has turned 13 this week.

Oh my, those 13 years have gone quickly. I found a card o the internet that I based this on and I did not note the source.  Apologies.  I simplified the design a bit.

Amazingly Ridiculous

This set screams FUN and begs for bright colours!

I used Sweet Taffy DSP and colours from the Brights family.  Here is the girl one.

Along with the boy one.  I love how you can stamp in different colours and overlay them.

Great fun to make!

Get Well

These Get Well cards were super easy using our punches.

The background is created with one of our new Photopolymer stamp sets Dotty Angles.

Easy!  Thanks to Dawn Griffith for the design.
