Onstage in Brisbane Part 3

I had a fabulous turn out of team members for Onstage.  Some were first timers, some were seasoned veterans.  I also have a few Adoptees to my nest - they belong in other teams but live near me so they are part of the team fun.

I like to give my team members a little gift and so I made these up and packaged them in the Mini Pizza Boxes.

These are zip pulls or scissor lanyards made from squashed bottle caps.  We did sell bottle caps in one catalogue but no longer.  I bought these at Big W in the Home Brew section and squashed them through my Big Shot. (You just have to peel out the rubber seal first.)

The feather is the symbol of my team and I printed it out and popped it out with the 1" Circle Punch.

I covered each circle with Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder (so that the ink wouldn't run) and then stuck them into the bottle cap with Mini Glue Dots.

I then covered over with Crystal Effects to seal.  Unfortunately we don't sell Crystal Effects anymore but the Fine Tip Glue Pen is a good substitute.

The tiny feather is made using the Chase Your Dreams Framelits and shrink plastic.

Speaking of feathers, one of my team members Anne, painted this feather for me!  I have had it sitting around for about 2 years intending to paint it and then had the common sense to delegate to the right person!!

And am I with Jenna, who sat at our table with her Mum.  Jenna is from Bundaberg.  You meet the nicest people!!

And here is the team.  Look at us all!  And we had people who couldn't get in too!

Well, if you don't want to be part of Stampin' up! after reading all that fun I would be very surprised.  Need details about joining?  Email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com or phone me on 07 55 7654 69.  I'd love to talk you into it!  He he.

There are some GREAT joining specials coming for Sale-a-Bration in January too!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Onstage in Brisbane Part 2

We had a jam packed full day of fun last Saturday for Onstage in Brisbane.

An optional fun activity to participate in is swapping!  Make as many as you like of a card design or project and SWAP.  Make 10, get 10 back.  Make 20, get 20 back.  Make 100, have a rest!!!

Here are my swaps - I have a kazillion embellishment containers left over so I decided to re purpose them.
I used circle punches and the Tropical Chic Stamp Set to decorate the lids.  These containers would be great for a set of mini cards or tags, chocolates....

You are supposed to include a recipe of products that you used and also your name.  I printed these details out and cut them out with a circle punch and fastened them together like a little fan.  Cute huh?

All up I made 25, using up all my shallow embellishment containers.  Good fun!

If you would like to know more about Onstage or being part of my team or buying Stampin' Up! products, I would love to help you out.  Email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com or phone me on 07 55 765 469.

Onstage in Brisbane

Every 6 months Stampin' Up!® spoils us with Onstage, a gathering of demonstrators for creative and business inspiration.

This year is SU!s 30th birthday so we were EXTRA spoilt!

On the Friday night demonstrators who were Silver Elite and above were treated to a delicious buffet dinner in a black and white theme.

We get a sneak peek of the room all set up for the next day.

Our table decoration - how did they know my age????

This is Angela, one of my team and I being goofs.

And being a little more serious at dinner.

And here we are with Em, our DDM - Demonstrator Development Manager.

At every Centrestage we are given a gift.  This time round we received a stamp set - perfect sentiments for encouraging our teams and a Centrestage Bone Folder.

And the next day the gifts just kept coming!!  Stay tuned for my next post.

Thanks for stopping by!

Onstage wrap up!

I have had a fabulous weekend at Stampin' Up! Onstage in Sydney.  Hundreds of demos from Australia gathered at at Luna Park to be inspired!

This is the wonderful team that ran the day.  Sara Douglass the CEO came you OUR event (that's Stampin' Up! royalty y'all!)

There is a special dinner on the Friday evening for demonstrators who are Silver Elite and above.  As this is SU!s 30th anniversary we dressed in the 80s theme.  This is me with Sara Douglass in my George Michael inspired t-shirt and stamp earrings.

We were treated to a talk by Sara (who looked super elegant unlike the rest of us!) and a delicious meal.

The next day day hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the Big Top function room.  Dress instructions were 'festive!'  Here's our table.

Everyone receives a bag containing a stamp set and a gift.  We were given these cute little light boxes!?

To celebrate SU!s 30th birthday we received celebratory cup cakes.

One of the fun parts of Onstage is preparing swaps.  I shared my own swaps in a previous blog post.

Here's the collection I got in return....

Check out this swap - from a fellow Paper Angel.  Isn't it gorgeous?  I love that there are strawberries at the bottom of the basket and one in the wine glass!  How cute is that?

I love catching up with my SU! buddies at these events - even the ones I see on a regular basis.

If you'd like to be part of the Stampin' Up! fun I would love you to join my team!

Onstage awaits!

Tomorrow I head off to Sydney for Stampin' Up!®  Onstage.  This is a wonderful whole day event for demonstrators where we are inspired by displays, demonstrations, business presentations and more.

Here's a sneak peek at a few things I have prepared for the day:

Demonstrators are encouraged to prepare swaps.  It's optional and you can prepare as many or as few as you wish.  At the start of the day, you meet other demonstrators and swap!

Here is my card:  made with Crumb Cake and Vellum plus the brown paper we receive in our orders.

We are also asked to include a 'recipe' on the back listing what we have used.

A few members of my team are coming along so I have prepared a little gift for them.

Stampin' Up! is 30 years old this year.  We have been asked to dress in a festive theme for the day so I have made sparkly earrings (and some for some team members...)

Looking forward to updating you on the fun of the day!

Thanks for stopping by!
