Vellum

Last week's class was all things Vellum.

 

One of our beautiful new Sale-a-Bration items for March is the  Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack. 

 

For this design we coloured the back of the Vellum then flipped it over.  The result is a lovely dusty coloured effect.

 



We also laid the more graphic patterns on coloured backgrounds for this effect.

Vellum's translucent nature makes it a perfect match for  Washi Tape.

These butterflies almost float off the page.

Washi x 2

We have two sets of washi tape in the new catalogue:  Epic This and That Designer Washi Tape (phew!) and Gingham Garden Designer Washi tape (not so phew!)  I am loving both sets.

This is a super simple design using the Label Love stamp set, another new product in the upcoming catalogue.  Here I have teamed it with the Gingham Garden Washi tape.

Wonderful Washi

Our new washi tape comes out starting July 1st, in two sets with three designs in each set.  Want to see the Gingham Garden Set?

If you love using ribbon on a project you'll love washi.

It's very easy to use and looks so effective.

• Add washi tape straight to a project or use it through the Big Shot.  My butterfly is created by adding strips of washi to Whisper White, then cutting it out with the Beautiful Butterfly Bigz die
• Cut or tear washi tape - easy either way
• The pack of three patterns means the co-ordination is done for you...although I have a feeling I'll be using up the teeny flower pattern quicker than the other two!
