Long Time No Post!

School holidays then preparation for our charity day have left me a poor blogger.  (You thought I was going to say something else didn't you??)

Let me remind you of a few things that are going on at the moment!

 

Lots of our favourite products are sticking around into the next catalogue but some are retiring.  Some have sold out already!  The best way to see what is left is to visit my online store where you can see pictures of the products.

 

There are some surprises in the retirement list including one of my favourite stamp sets Gorgeous Grunge.  Here are a couple of samples from previous blog posts.

This Saturday my team and I are hosting an Australia's Biggest Morning Tea!  It has kept us very busy!  Today I got stuck in and made the nametags.

Classes aren't just about making cards

Hello!  I have kicked off my 2017 classes this month with a Birthday Blitz Stamp-a-Stack.  Ladies made a total of twelve cards.  But do you know what else happened?  People reconnected after a two month break.  Classes aren't just about making cards, they are a social event!  A great chance to catch up and chat with others and share stories.  And it gets even better.  You head home have used the creative side of your brain with A PILE OF CARDS!  These can then be mailed or given to someone to brighten their day!!  We all love getting something other than a window letter in the mail, right?

Do you want to see what we made?  Our aim was to restock our birthday cards, so we made male, female, boy and girl cards.

This feminine card combines Sweet Sugarplum and Night of Navy with the Touches of Texture stamp set.

 

For the men, we used Badges and Banners along with the Best Badge and Duet Banners punches.

 

 

For the boys we went for superheroes!  Oh and a monster emerged for the evening class. 

 

And for the girls, Fairy Celebration.  Don't you love the little fairy's knock knees??



 

 

The fairy's wings are also stamped on scrap Shimmer White, punched out and added with a glue dot.  We Wink of Stella'd them for some added sparkle!

 

 

I am very excited about our next class - a technique class using the Beautiful You stamp set.  We'll be exploring masking, paper piecing, watercolouring, the mirroring technique.  You'll take home five individually crafted cards for $20.   AND...you'll have a fun time.

So this is new! And this is FREE!

Hi Everyone

If you haven't had a chance to look at the Occasions catalogue, don't stress - it's only two days old!  I will help you out!

I have been having a fun play with some of the stamp sets and I'll share a few posts showing you what's new!

So....this is new!

 I know a few people who need a paper hug in the mail.  This is one of our new stamp sets - Yummy in my Tummy. Not just for kids.  And I made envelopes to match!

I am making more of an effort this year to make my envelopes pretty.  So...people not only get a hand addressed envelope in the mail, they also get a pretty one. 

 

This also extends to Tough Bags!  I have been decorating a whole bunch these past few days so I have them in reserve, instead of rushing to stamp them at the last minute.

 

 

 

I added clear Wink of Stella over the top.  I posted one yesterday and walked to the post box.  The sun shining on the glitter was so pretty!  (OK really simple things make me happy!)

 

 

 

How about the other monster in the set...

 

 

 

He is coated in glue from the Fine Tip Glue Pen, mixed with Emerald Envy Ink Refill.

 

 

 

If you loved our now retired Crystal Effects, this is a very similar result!

 

And of course he makes a fun shaker card.
