Irresistibly Yours DSP is just one of the SAB items that won't be available once March ends!  This has been a very popular Sale-a-Bration item.  I had a play with it today to make some notelets for customer orders.

• the card base is 14.8 x 7.4 (so that you can get four out of a sheet of A4)
• the Whisper White layer is 7 x 7
• the Irrestibly Yours DSP is 7 x 2 and sponged
• the ribbon is retired but we have sooooo many ribbons to choose from!

One layout - 3 ways

I had cut a bunch of layers for a stamp a stack but then changed to another design at the last minute....so I had lots of card guts.

Rather than make the same card many times over, I brought in some other stamps.

This was the original card...based on a design by Kay Kalthoff.

Lucky Dork Prize

Now I am not saying my ladies are dorks but when my son was younger I told him I was making a lucky door prize and he said, "Lucky dork prize??"  It was around that age when you wonder how he even knew the word 'dork.'

So here is the Lucky Door Prize for today's class.  We are making projects using Vellum in different ways so I have made some Mini Treat Bags.

One pair uses the Irresistably Yours DSP - a Sale-a-Bration freebee. 

The other pair uses our delicious Fancy Foils Designer Vellum from the Annual catalogue.

Each Mini Treat Bag contains a cello bag with a few little vellum embellishments.

 

I was super pleased with how these turned out.

More Big Day

I haven't finished playing with Sale-a-Bration's Big Day.  I probably never will!  Its open lettering invites fun colouring.

There are so many samples on Pinterest to inspire you - this is a variation on a design I saw by Jessica Taylor - a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
