Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum

RIP Blendabilities

Now that we have shed our tears and had out minute's silence for the demise of Blendabilities it is time to move onwards and upwards!

Washi Sheets

This has nothing to do with washing sheets...although you might take it as a reminder to do so...

My Stamp Club ladies received a little kit with their March orders with samples of our Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets and all that they needed to make this card.  I hadn't played with the Washi Sheets before - great fun because they are translucent, so overlapping them looks kinda nifty!

This is what you get when you fussy cut round that sentiment.  Looks more like a tree.

Vellum

Last week's class was all things Vellum.

 

One of our beautiful new Sale-a-Bration items for March is the  Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack. 

 

For this design we coloured the back of the Vellum then flipped it over.  The result is a lovely dusty coloured effect.

 



We also laid the more graphic patterns on coloured backgrounds for this effect.

Vellum's translucent nature makes it a perfect match for  Washi Tape.

These butterflies almost float off the page.
