Darling Label Punch Box

Unfortunately the Darling Label Punch Box is retired but I would love to show you the projects we made this morning.

These darling tins went on the Clearance Rack earlier in the year (when Covid hit!) so I bought up 8 of them for a class.

The design below has a nifty fold out design.  The 6 x 6" DSP in the Brights colours was perfect for providing a variety of patterns and prints.

Whilst the punch is perfect for punching out whichever sentiment chosen, the 'thanks' below was fussy cut (because the punch would cut off the tips of the leaves.)

A colourful play with the punch created this card - the shape was punched out of all the brights and, because we needed 12 colours, we also used two 'bright' In Colours.

And the single sided notecard showed how you can use a floral stamp with a sentiment without using the sentiment.

We stamped the flowers repeatedly, making sure the 'thanks' sentiment was off the edge of the paper each time.  A great way to get more bang for your buck out of a stamp.

Did you know there are still great bargains on the Clearance Rack?  You can fund retired items at reduced prices by clicking HERE.

And September is a great time to join with our Get and Go Promotion.  $169 gets you $235 of product of your choice (even Clearance Rack goodies).  That's $66 of FREE product and FREE shipping and handing.

Prized Peony Class

Our most recent stamp-a-stack used the Prized Peony suite.   If you live on the Gold Coast and would like to come along to a class,  let me know!

The DSP uses only two colours - Gray Granite and Petal Pink.  I must admit that I haven't used Gray Granite but these cards made me fall in love with it.

These panels were cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  The scallop edge is one of the dies from the Peony dies.  (Love a good scallop!)

We played with our sponge brayers in Petal Pink ink for these cards.
Do you spy a faint border around the large stamped image.  That was created by cutting out the corresponding shape from the die set, laying it over the stamped image and brayering.

There's even a beautiful Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon as part of the suite.

This card showcases the suite perfectly with layers of DSP, the ribbon and the stamped image and sentiment.

And sometimes simplicity is the key.  We loved this clean and simple card using the Layering Scalloped Circles and the Stitched Shape Framelits.

Paper Angels Team Day Fun

Last Saturday I joined with Bec Ross to run a 'Crafting Through Corona' Team Day.  Our wider team, of which we are both a part is called the Paper Angels, so we had 40 angels in attendance.

One of our ladies was unable to attend as she loves across the border and had been shut out by Covid.  But we made sure she was part of the action by creating a 'flat Jan'.

We always have fantastic displays put together by Liz and Zena

We had four demonstrators contribute as display stampers.  They produced wonderful samples.

And here are the members of my team who attended!   We have fantastic new shirts made by TP Promotional Gear.

Hey!  Want to join my team and be part of the fun?  We are a lovely bunch - we even welcome cardboard cutouts!!
It's $169 to join and you choose $235 worth of products.  And you get to be part of the Lorikeet Stampers.

Launch-a-rama

I held my Annual Catalogue launch this past weekend in two sessions.  It was one of my first events post lockdown and I split it into two time slots so that we weren't crammed in together too much.

It was nice to get back into the social side of things and I hope we won't need to go back into lockdown.

I forgot to take pictures during the event (duh!) but I have pics of the make and takes.

I like to include an 'different' project and this one was a bag tag using Zany Zebras.

This was a CASE from an overseas demonstrator but unfortunately I didn't take note of the demonstrator's name.  Love the effect of the colour blocking in behind the black and white zebras!

Who is loving the new In Colours?  Magenta Madness is my favourite.  Love this vibrant pink!!
This is a pink lemonade card using the Jar of Flowers stamp set.  Thanks to Erica Cerwin for this idea!

Another one of my favourite bundles is Posted For You which includes the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch.  Punches are a fantastic way to cut out images quickly and easily!

Another favourite was the Celebrate Sunflowers die combining stamped images and die cuts.  Don't you love this delicate overlay?  I have had great fun playing with it!  Try cutting it out in foil or glimmer paper!

When I was designing the make and takes I originally made this one in Magenta Madness but realised not everyone would want TWO Magenta Madness cards.

Mini cards are very handy and we created one with a coordinating envelope using the Whale Done stamp set and punch..  The DSP is beautiful and comes in a  6 x 6 pack.  Lots of punny sentiments.

I like to inspire my customers with samples and displays.  My bookcase is always set up with heaps of cards.

And here is a sneak peek of the a card display rack that will be available in the new Handmade for You Christmas mini starting in August.  It's not too big, not too small!

My classes are getting back on track!  If you want to be in my email list for classes contact me!

July is also a great time to order!  For every $90 you order you get a $9 voucher to use in August!  Many of the products above are hyperlinked to my online store.
