A Super Saturday Class - 'berry' much fun

 I don't hold regular Saturday classes but when I do I call them 'pop up' classes.  Yesterday's was a 'super' pop up, based around the beautiful Sweet Strawberry Bundle from Stampin' Up!®

The ladies received the Sweet Strawberry stamp set(#154394) as part of their class fee.  You can also but this in a bundle to receive the coordinating punch! (#156214) 

as well as the Berry Delightful Sale-a-Bration extra.

It was a fabulous relaxed day and we made eight strawberry and berry themed projects.

This clean and simple card uses the Blending Brushes to create a puff of colour behind the strawberries.  And of course we had the matching envelope.

And the same technique was used on the top of this cute candle box.  

This gorgeous card and treat box were CASEd from Michelle Last who is a UK demonstrator.  I loved this design using black ink for the outlines and I loved the way the card and box coordinated.

No need to stamp end punch every time - the stalks of these strawberries are simply punched out and attached to chocolate hearts to create choccie strawberries. Some may not have made it home. 😂

My demo friend Bec Ross designed a set of cards to fit in the Mini Paper Pumpkin box. The box was decorated simply....

And a se of three cards to fit in the box.  They each have coordinating envelopes with DSP on the flaps - an easy way to jazz up an envelope.

These three full size cards are clean and simple designs layering DSP onto coordinating colours.  Two of these cards use the Layering Circles and Layering Squares which are retiring.

The hearts use the Heart Punch Pack. (#151292)

And last but not least we uses punched strawberries in the colours of the rainbow!  To give the strawberries texture, we ran them through the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. (#152718)

Shapes Class

 For those of you new to my blog welcome!   I thought you might like to see the sorts of things we do in classes!  All my classes are based round Stampin' Up! ® stamps, inks and papers.

This past week we had a class using die cut shapes!  For this class I have to admit that none of the designs are original....but I will give credit where possible!

I love this design - there are so many samples on Pinterest that show you variations on this.  Colours used - Magenta Madness, Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Basic White. It can be made in this cool 's' shape...

Or put together as a kind of ball which we all agreed worked well with this range of colours and the patterned DSP.

This one used our fabulous Stitched Triangle dies - I love all our stitched offerings!  I CASEd this from @stampitupwithjaimie on Instagram and we made it in two colour combos.  The most time consuming part is cutting the triangles (and I cut I had them ready for 30 cards so it's not all that time consuming for one card!)  But once they are cut, it's super quick to put together!

 

This last card is also a CASE, from Pinterest.  It kept showing up in my feed, nagging me to make it and now that I want to credit its creator, it's nowhere to be found.  I will return and add details if I find it.  I love the brightness of this one using Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana on a splattered brick wall.  Great for teenagers!

The fabulous thing about all these card is that just by changing the colours, you can create cards for different ages and tastes!  And you can vary your adhesives too - this last card has some of the triangles up on Dimensionals.

Day One of Craft Alive

My next class is on Thursday February 25th.  It's a 'Shapes' class where we are using die cut shapes to make bright and eye catching cards.  We will make 6 cards - two each of three designs.  Envelopes are included and the cost is $25.  I run classes from my home in Burleigh Waters.

Stampin' Up!®  has re-released a fun Sale-a-Bration stamp set and added coordinating dies.  some of you may still have the set in your stash but if not you can now buy it!

Hey Chick contains four cute images and a few punny sayings.

And now we have dies!!!  These are so much fun and add another dimension to your crafting.  Love the extra elements such as the chicken wire and the ears of corn!  And a chook house!

Here's a slimline card which is actually my Valentine card for hubby.  It was fun to prepare a whole bunch of the images and then play with putting them together.

You may have spotted a few extras in this card - a different chook?  A sack of corn?  These are from another stamp and die set, but they all go beautifully together!
