Paper Doilies
Paper Doilies are back!! Here's some more sneak peeking from the upcoming Seasonal Catalogue which starts February 1st. I saw this design on Pinterest in lighter colours but wanted to try white and Midnight Muse.
I mounted the DSP on the Whisper White to give it more strength when I popped it up on Dimensionals.
Layers of Paper Doilies can be curled up to give the card further dimension.
Bakers Twine and a Rhinestone finish the card off.
Stamps: Itty Bitty Banners
Card: Whisper White, Print Poetry DSP Stack
Ink: Midnight Muse
Accessories: Paper Doilies, Basic Rhinestones, Whisper White Bakers Twine
Thanks for stopping by! Check back tomorrow for another sample from the Print Poetry DSP stack.

Remember the Designer Series Paper Stack of Christmassy prints? 'Print Poetry' is in the new Seasonal Catalogue and it is full of beautiful masculine and feminine prints in that same handy size. (11.4 x 16.5 cm). The Paper Doilies look stunning against the rich colour.
The Midnight Muse print is one of my favourites from the stack. When I made the card, I did not realise that I had several doilies stuck together but loved the effect in the end.

Bitty Butterfly Punch
Here's a sneak peek of the Bitty Butterfly Punch, one of the new products in the upcoming Seasonal Catalogue which starts February 1st!
Stampin' Up!s Glimmer Paper tends to be 'allergic' to adhesives (it's a bit waxy!) Each time I pull out a new sheet I back it with a Multipurpose Adhesive sheet so that when I punch out an image, it has a peel off sticky backing. Makes it soooo easy to use.
* Give white on white some added depth by using dimensionals. I have used them behind the Scallop Circle layer.
* These cards are 7.4 cm by 7.4 cm - the ideal size for our mini envelopes.
* The Bitty Butterfly Punch is just one of the gorgeous products featured in our upcoming mini. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks! and Sale-a-Bration samples!
Want FREE Silver Glimmer paper???? During Sale-a-Bration host a party that reaches $300 or place an order of $300 or more and it's yours!!
Card: Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper
Tools: Bitty Butterfly Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, 6 cm Scallop Circle Punch, 4.4 cm Circle Punch
Accessories: Dimensionals

I have punched this cutie out of Silver Glimmer Paper and layered it on our Elegant Butterfly Punch (from our main catalogue). Both of these punches co-ordinate with the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set.
For a quick and easy card, our punches layer together in a jiffy!

What better stamp set to use than Lovely Little Labels - a collection of the cutest little images you'll ever see.
Here's the card..
And this is how big it is...
Plus a matching teeny envelope... Gotta love that postage stamp!
And here's the present - of course the card went inside the envelope after the photo.
I think it's the perfect cutie for a little cutie!

Corner of Sycamore and Madison
Two of our upcooming SAB freebees are Sycamore Street DSP and the Madison Avenue stamp set.
What happens when they meet??
A super easy card that looks fab!
The DSP and stamp set match perfectly to give a completeness to the design.
See how I have reflected the gradations of the DSP in the leaves of the flower? Ink up your stamp by stamping it in the lightest ink first then moving it off the next coloured ink pad a little so that some of the lighter ink remains. Move it up even further for the next colour. Easy!
The centre of the flower has been stamped separately and then punched out using an Itty Bitty Shapes punch. I am wishing I put a rhinestone in the middle now that I look at it!
Stamps: Madison Avenue (SAB)
Card: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Sycamore Street DSP
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Summer Starfruit, Old Olive, Garden Green
Tools: Itty Bitty Shapes Punches
Don't forget that Sale-a-Bration starts on the 22nd of January. You can get freebees simply by placing a $100 order or even more freebees by hosting a party! Email me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com for more details or...watch this space.

Olive Ewe
Sometimes I think I spend more time on Pinterest pinning card ideas than I do making them! But today is a creative day. I saw this as a free printable on Pinterest and knew I had to try it with punch art.
The sheep is the same design as I used for my sheep brooches which can be found HERE.
Plenty of white space gives a clean design and focuses on the sheep.
A teeny border of Old Olive around the white brings the design together.
I played with a couple of layouts, shifting the text and the heart around. The sentiment is computer generated.
Card: Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White
Tools: 4.4 cm Scallop Circle Punch, Large Oval, 1.3 cm Circle Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Word Window
Accessories: Real Red 3.2 mm Taffeta Ribbon

Punch Art Paw
Having a variety of punches is a must for any crafter. Not only do so many of them match our stamps but they can combine to create all sorts of fun shapes and images.
This card is for my niece, an animal lover, who has just got her first job working in a doggy day spa. What a perfect job for her.
The doggy paw was made using the Full Heart Punch and the Small Oval. Line them up on your cardstock to get the placement right, then snail each in to place, one by one.
I used the Colour Coach to find a co-ordinating colour for the Raspberry Ripple. Who would have guessed Old Olive?
One of our basic rhinestones adds a touch of bling to the pretty paw.
This card was very quick to make and is a simple but eyecatching design. It's going in the mail today to reach my niece before her first day of work!
Stamps: Curly Cute
Card: Whisper White, Raspberry Ripple, Old Olive, Basic Black
Ink: Raspberry Ripple
Tools: Full Heart Punch, Small Oval Punch
Accessories: Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestone

Mojo Monday Sketch 275
I know it's actually Wednesday but I have entered a challenge over at Mojo Monday.
A new sketch is posted every Monday and the ideas people come up with are amazing. Here is the sketch.
A new sketch is posted every Monday and the ideas people come up with are amazing. Here is the sketch.
And here is my card:
- I managed five different colours on the same stamp by using my Stamp n Write markers applied directly to the stamp.
- Don't you love how the DSP reflects the pattern of the cupcake base?
- The Polka Dot Embossing Folder echoes the spots on the top of the cupcake.
It's great fun to challenge yourself once in awhile! Make sure you check out the other entries over at Mojo Monday.

A little more sentimentality
After five days of panic I have now found a round-a-bout way to load photos on my blog again. Phew! Sorry for the delay.
Here are a couple more cards designed in the same style as my last post, using the other two images from Feeling Sentimental. These are based on a design by Teneale Williams.
I achieved the distressed look by running my fingernail along the edge of the card stock. Keep playing with it and rolling the edges and corners between thumb and forfinger. Use a sponge to add Crumb Cake ink to the edges.
The phone booth panels on the left are stamped on scrap then stamped out with the 1" square punch and cut in half. Their rectangular shape reflect the panels in the phone booth.
Feeling Sentimental is just one of the fantastic products you can get FREE during Sale-a-Bration.
With every $100 ordered, you can choose one of 19 products for FREE! Starts January 22nd.

Add some texture to the bottom panels by running it through the the Houndstooth Embossing Folder (thanks Teneale).
Those water splotches are from French Foliage and add an aged feel to the card, to match the sentimental images.
