Envelope Punch Board is here

This is a fantastic new tool available now through Stampin' Up!

It creates totally customisable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes (not to mention a million different colour and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use). Even tried and true envelope sizes will only take you moments to create! 

It's super easy to use;  all you have to do is measure for the first punch and from there you just turn and score. 

It's small and lightweight;  you can use it while watching television, at a park, at a friend's for craft night-anywhere. 

It even has a clever scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes. 

It's easy to keep it all together; the stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don't have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won't lose them!).

The price is terrific--especially for a tool that does so much!

Big Big Day

When he was little my son used to say "Wadda wadda big BIG day!" if he'd had a busy one.  A few of us had a big day yesterday!

We had a wonderful day at our Annual Christmas Card Workshop which raises money for the Mater Mothers Bereavement Programme.

We had 21 ladies attend along with 6 demonstrators who instructed them in the making of 6 wonderful Christmas projects.

This was their kit with all the bits and pieces to complete their projects.

We had a fabulous raffle with products donated by Stampin' Up!

And plenty to eat (see we even had Stampin' Up! inspiration with our Gluten Free sign!)

The wonderful ladies at Genesis Christian Ministries provided the food and generously did not ask for a catering fee.

All up, with the raffle and the free catering, we raised $432!!  A fantastic effort.  Thanks so much to everyone who came along.

Little Gift Tags

These were quick and easy to make...  teeny gift tags.

Snail some DSP along the edge of some cardstock.  Stamp the sentiment.  Cut out using the Big Shot.

 

The tags are from the Chalk Talk Framelits.  These are FANTASTIC shapes and the hole is a separate piece so you can put it wherever you want.

Santa Card

We made this card months ago in class but I have not blogged it (I don't think!)  I found the idea on Pinterest.

He's very textured, using the Big Shot.

Lots of details in this Santa - his belt buckle is punched out of Silver Glimmer paper using one of the shapes from the Little Labels Punch Pack and the Small Oval Punch (hint:  punch the inside shape first, then the oval around it!)

Another hint:  I always add a sheet of Multi Purpose Adhesive to the back of my Silver Glimmer Paper.  That way I can just peel off the backing and stick it in place.

The Santa folds out for room to write.

Happy Birthday Mum!

Today is my mum's 80th birthday. 

We are celebrating this weekend but I had to put a card in the mail for her to receive on the day....and I know that she will receive plenty of cards from many of you too.  Thank you!

I wanted something bright and young-at-heart and saw this idea on Pinterest.

 

It took me a large part of the morning to make, mainly because I couldn't find my fine wire - locating it took up at least half the time!

Owl Builder Punch Brooches

I made the fronts of these cuties ages ago and have just finished the backs.

They are very easy and make beautiful, inexpensive gifts.

Decorative Window Gift Boxes and Santa's List.....perfect

Now that we have such a delicious range of gift boxes, gift giving has suddenly become super easy.

The gorgeous Decorative Window Gift Boxes breeze to dress up...and to fill.

First up I made some square gift cards, inspired by Becky Roberts.

Then I made some sleeves - not envelopes, sleeves that wrap around the cards - using Baked Brown Sugar DSP.

The seal is made with some Multi Purpose Adhesive sheet which can then be peeld off to close the sleeve.

Then I decorated one of our Window Boxes with DSP...don't you love how Santa can peek through and keep an eye out?
