A Little Something for a Special Someone

Team member, buddy and Convention roomie Angela had a birthday this week.

She loves Moser Roth Chocolates from Aldi.  Instead of wrapping the individual chocolates, I wrapped three packs in co-ordinating DSP.

A belly band and the tag from Chalk Talk finished off the bundle.  Chalk Talk is one of those wonderful products available in a bundle - Framelits and stamp set at 15% off.

The DSP has retired and Midnight Muse will leave us at the end of June but we will still have Cajun Craze to keep us happy.

My Swap

I am back from a fantastic 3 day convention in Melbourne which I attended with my team member and buddy Angela.

One of the optional parts of Convention is Swaps.  Make a card front or other stamping idea as many times as you want and swap it with other demonstrators.  Make 20, get 20 in return...make 50 get 50.  I have had some shrink plastic waiting to be used and so I decided to make some scissor charms.   They were light, easy to pack and easy to carry.  (Sometimes your arm is dead by the end of swapping!)

Here is what they looked like packaged.

And here are a few of the variations....

I had put off using the shrink plastic as I thought it had to be done in the oven but I discovered that the Heat Gun does the trick.  Stamp in Staz On, punch out and shrink!

 

• The smaller flowers are stamped and punched using the Flower Shop stamp set and Pansy Punch.  These two products are available in a bundle for 15% off.
• The mobile phone lanyards are from Ebay.

Two Quick Cards

With family visiting and getting ready for Convention and all, I wanted to send out two cards to two of my team members.  And they needed to be quick to make.

So I pulled out my Retro Fresh Designer Journaling Tags.  So far I have used them on lots of cards, but not for journaling!

They co-ordinate beautifully with the Retro Fresh DSP.

Have you seen the Clearance Rack

The Clearance Rack is a more recent introduction by Stampin' Up!  Have you checked it lately? 



Every now and then, it is updated with some new things and there have been some recent additions!

Button Tags

I have some buttons from Stampin' Up! from waaay back when there were twelve colours in a colour family and 'Brights' were 'Bold Brights'.

 

Using the Angled Tag Topper Punch I made some simple tags, sponged the edges with Real Red ink and hot glued some buttons onto them.

 

 

Job done!  A great tag for dressing up a present.

Red and White II

In my last post I showed you some red and white lip balm cards I made recently for a customer order.  Here are the red and white offerings for the men!

Anything with chocolate goes down well doesn't it??

I have done a recent post using these mini coffee cups. and everyone thinks they are very cute.

For this version I embossed the 'sleeve' with a non SU! embossing folder but the decoration of the top uses our fabulous Starburst Framelits dies.
