70th birthday

I made a 70th birthday card for a friend and wanted a sophisticated result. 

Using Smokey Slate and ...Smokey Slate, I created a tone on tone effect.

I used a mixture of Smokey Slate DSP and embossed pieces to add texture and weight to the card.  I love a card with a bit of weight to it, especially for special occasions.

And of course some rhinestones are essential!

 

 

To complete the package, I created an envelope and envelope liner to match:  easy with our Envelope Liner dies.

Christmas Tags

Here's a simple but beautiful idea for a gift tag.

Using the Many Merry Stars stamp set and the Stars Framelits, I created these simple tags.

 

 The tag base is cut using the Chalk talk Framelits which I then ran through the Big Shot using the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder.

 



 

My last class for the year is today so these tags went on a gift for all the ladies who attended.

Stampin' Up!s Petite Cafe Gift Bags

Here is another project from our Charity Day.

Using the Festival of Trees stamp set, we created a tag to go on a Petite Café Gift Bag.  These bags are poly-lined, so they are great for packaging Christmas treats.

We sponged some stars on the bags using the Decorative Masks and Whisper White ink, then added a layered tag, attached with a silver Mini Peg.

I am getting a lot of use out of my Confetti Star Punch.  It adds a lovely festive feel.
