In our most recent card class we made cards for kids. Over the years I have learnt to try to create cards to suit kids of all ages, rather than just for really little kids. Now we need to have a 'really little kids' class.
We made 9 cards - three each of three designs.
The ladies loved "No Bones About It."
And this was the first time I had used Build a Birthday.
Fun flowers...
And we also used Big News, made bright and beautiful when paired with Schoolhouse DSP.
My goodness I am behind. My launch was a week and a half ago and I have not done a follow up.
The theme was Christmas and the fundraising was for the National Heart Foundation.
Everyone had a fun time looking at the products from the Holiday Catalogue and having a play. We had a play with the Sleigh Ride Edgelit dies. This was one of the display cards using Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron and Pool Party.
This one used Mint Macaron and Whisper White. Love the co-ordinating stamp set.
Our make and take with this die were a little simpler. Each lady made two of these - one for themselves and one for our collection for Australian soldiers.
As well as the make and takes, I asked all the ladies to put envelopes inside each of the cards we have made throughout the year for our soldiers, gather them into groups of ten and bag them. Phew! Saved me some time! We have 300 cards ready to go.
And for the National Heart Foundation we raised $147!
Thanks everyone who came and for contributing to a worthy cause.

I entertained 20 lovely ladies on Saturday at the launch of the new Holiday Catalogue. It was a great opportunity to get their hands on the new products.
One of the many exciting new products is the Festive Flower Builder Punch. One of the Make and Takes was a Poinsettia on a tag. It was very easy to make and the ladies found ways to make it even easier!
HINT: Score each petal with a ruler and bone folder then fold along the ruler.
Have you had a careful look at the cover of the catalogue? There is a magnificent flower made the same way using our Glimmer Paper and a whole lot more petals! For this one I used a hot glue gun to glue the petals in place - it sets quickly and helps to keep the bend in the petals.
Stampin' Up! has also created an awesome video to show you the punch in action.

Don't forget that throughout September I am offering an incentive for ordering. For every $10 you order you will get a ticket in the draw for this box of Stampin' Up! markers.
