On Saturday we held our Annual Christmas Charity Day! Our wonderful team The Lorikeet Stampers banded together to prepare and run this amazing event! One of the things I love about Stampin' Up! ® is that it provides me with a platform to hold such events, gather people together and give to worthy causes.
Thanks to everyone involved - many hours go into cutting and packing the kits, team members prepare samples for display, they advertise to their customers, everyone helps set up, biscuits are baked, snacks are packaged, raffle prizes are gathered and wrapped. On the day, team members participate or run tables, help set up and pack away. The help is so generous!
We had 10 tables altogether (I missed getting a shot of one of the tables!) and the ladies were guided through their projects by our team of demonstrators.
To inspire our customers we had some beautiful displays..
And we had a magnificent raffle which raised over $1010.
The money will be used to continue to provide our footprint cards and kits to Gold Coast University Hospital, our cards and invitations deliveries to Meals on Wheels and our cards and products for Hope In a Suitcase.
I was delighted to receive a beautiful bunch of flowers and gorgeous card at the close of the day.
Thank you to all who came along and took part in such a fun day. As always the day is the culmination of many contributions and I am so grateful for all involved.
