Stampin' Up! Sentiment Love

Have you had a chance to have a really good look at the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue yet?  There are some amazing and versatile sentiment stamp sets.

Go To Greetings has classic sentiments in classic fonts AND varied sizes.  These would have to be a 'go to' set in anyone's collection.  The variety guarantees that you will have the right look and right size for any card.  This is the set we will be using at our upcoming charity day!

If you make lots of cards for family, 'One Happy Family' is a great one to add to your stash.  It covers all sorts of family occasions and incorporates a variety of fonts.

Inspired Thoughts is a must for ....well....inspiring thoughts, comforting messages and words you would love to receive!

All three stamp sets above are 'stand alone' stamp sets which do not require coordinating dies or punches.  The stamp set below:  Charming Sentiments has coordinating dies which replicate fussy cutting.  But you could, of course use the sentiments without the dies.

And I have to include a return favourite - if you don't have this set, accelerate it to the top of your list.  Biggest Wish not only becomes the focal point of your card, it can be incorporated with your own sentiments.

Here's an example where one of my team members used a computer generated sentiment aling with the upper case HAPPY to create a unique sentiment.

If you don't yet have a paper catalogue and would like one - let me know and I will get one to you.

Day of Service for Meals On Wheels and Robina Hospital

We had a fabulous and fun working bee on Wednesday! 10 ladies came along to help create Easter bundles using Stampin' Up!s® amazing stamps and packaging goodies.

Outside was torrential rain which even caused my sign to 'bleed' but we were undeterred.

Our goal was to create 200 treats for Meals on Wheels to hand out on their meal deliveries run in the lead up to Easter, AND bundle up treats for the health care workers at Robina Hospital.

I love the opportunities that Stampin' Up! gives me as a demonstrator to help the community - and my customers and team love being involved.  Together we can work together to contribute whilst also having a fun time!

I told the ladies they could leave if they needed to but they all stayed on for the whole morning till we were finished.

All up we packaged 198 of the Simply Classic Treat Boxes (and I have since found the missing two which I had made up as samples!) and 167 Printed Gusseted Cello Bags.  I managed to use up a whole lot of my retired ribbons AND the local kindy will get heaps of cardboard ribbon spools to use for craft projects (win, win!)   There was stamping, ribbon cutting, box assembling, bag stuffing and lots of laughs.

All the ladies had a great time and we are looking forward to our next service project.

Thanks to all who came along!  It was a fantastic effort!

Waves of the Ocean - out of catalogue release

This month has seen the release of Stampin' Up!s Waves of the Ocean suite.  It's early release of a bundle that's coming in the new Annual Catalogue plus some items that won't carry over and are only available while stocks last.

We have stamps and dies, some magical foil, amazing DSP and some rhinestones.

The bundle, which will carry over has amazing wave dies....and a few other nifty bits.

The DSP is only while stocks last.  The hardest part of using it is deciding which side to use! (Or which side NOT to use!)

The rhinestones come in three colours:  Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy and Pacific Point - but two shades of each.

And the foil is in three different colours, two 12 x 12" sheets of each.

All of the products can be found in my online store using the links below.

Happy Stampiversary to MEEEE!

Back in 2008 I joined Stampin' Up!®

My sister has been to a Stampin' Up! party and kept telling me all about it.  This company had coloured ink!!!  (we were used to using either black ink or Versamark and embossing powder) AND cardboard in matching colours.

It wasn't until I saw the catalogue that I realised just what she was talking about.  I loved everything in it.  She had agreed to hold a party herself so I went along and....joined up.  Just for the discount.

One of my friends agreed to hold a party for me and I was able to spread the word.

It wasn't until my son was back in school and I had to decide what work I would return to that I decided to start running classes in 2009.  Since then I have run 100s of classes and heaps of fundraising events, met many new customers and made beautiful friends.

I have been on three incentive trips (and earned this year's which has been cancelled because Covid!) and had the opportunity to present at a number of Stampin' Up! events.

I joined for the fun products but I have stayed for the friendships and fun (as well as the fun products!)

I am blessed to have this job because of the people I have met and the experiences I have had.

If you are reading this as a customer, team member or stranger, thank you for your part in it.

And thanks to my hubby and son for their help and your patience with all the taking over of the house!
