Hip Hip Hooray - it arrived

My Hip Hip Hooray card kit arrived last week and I saved opening it till my team meeting.

Inside are the makings of 20 cards along with a stamp set, ink spot and clear block.  The card components are on sheets of peel off stickers.  Here are some finished cards.

The quality is excellent and instructions are included with photos of a variety of layouts.

Some hints

• stamp on your sticker before you peel it off.
• all the stickers are sticky all over the back (which you would expect of a sticker!!) so if adding dimensionals make sure you add some to the middle so that it doesn't dip in and stick.)
• don't be afraid to use parts of stickers by cutting them in half.

This really is a fun kit.  The finished products would be a beautiful gift and so would the kit!!

Sending Good Thoughts

Perfect Pennants has some wonderful sentiments.  "Sending Good Thought Your Way" is so versatile.  Having a pile of these cards on hand would not go astray.

We made this card at a recent stamp-a-stack and combined Perfect Pennants with the Watercolor Wonder DSP.  I particularly love this pattern from the pack and the card was super easy to put together.

Easiest Cards Ever

Have you noticed the Retro Fresh Designer Journaling Tags in the Mini Catalogue??

 

 

They are designed mainly for use in the Retro Fresh This and That Journal but there's no reason why you couldn't use them on a card!

 

I made this for my son who has just got through a big week.

 

 

 

And I made this one for a team member who is doing a fantastic job with her party bookings and being an all round nice person.

Starburst Sayings meets Retro Fresh

My favourite colour at the moment is Coastal Cabana and there are two DSPS in the new mini which use it. 

I fiddled around with the circles from Starburst Sayings and the matching framelits (Bundle and save 15%) to make this card.
The Retro Fresh patterns are fabulous and great for masculine cards.
