Notebook

Using the lovely Everyday Enchantment DSP from Sale-a-Bration, we made these notebooks at a recent class.  The notebooks are very economical to buy yet easy to jazz up and make beautiful.  I liked the colour of this DSP against the black cover.  I saw this idea on My Crafty Picks and tweeked it to suit the notebooks I found.

We heat embossed the flourish from Creative Elements onto the cover, which is a bit hard to see in the photo.  I was a little worried when I tried the sample that I would end up with a shrivelled cover, but thankfully, I didn't.

The embossing looks a little speckled in the photo but not in real life.  Adding the flowers from the Itty Bitty Punches tied the whole lot together.  This was a really fun project which was the result of a customer requesting that we do covered notebooks.
