We made a total of five cards exploring different techniques.
First up, Paper Piecing, where the image is stamped on the white rectangle and also on some patterned DSP. The DSP dress and hat are cut out then stuck over the white dress. This is such an effective technique and so easy to do.
Our second card also explored paper piecing with one of the other images.
Card number three used our fabulous Watercolour Pencils and aqua painters. I am loving the Watercolour Pencils and this was such an easy card to make.
The technique is really well explained by Dena Rekow in this video.
We also did some masking to place the lady with the umbrella into the middle of a Mediterranean scene.
And lastly, some mirroring, a technique I have not tried before but we all loved it!
I was really pleased with the cards the ladies took home and the techniques we explored. If you would like to come along to my classes, I would love to have you. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone me on 55 765 469. I also have a classes button at the top of my blog.
Don't forget we are entering the final weeks of Sale-a-Bration. Free goodies with every $90 spend!
