Pocketful of Sunshine by Stampin' Up!® caught my eye with my first flip through of the annual catalogue. I love sending happy mail and I love the idea of sending someone some sunshine.
This bright card was CASEd from Dena Rekow and sent off to two ladies needing a bit of brightness.
The fabulous 'Sunshine' is cut using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.
The Pocket Framelits that co-ordinate with the stamps allowed me to cut out those sunnies and also make the 3D items below.
I stamped and cut the pocket shape, then cut a plain piece for the back. They are joined together with a strip of cardstock that is 7 1/2" by 1" and scored at 2 1/4", 3 3/4" and 5 1/4".
I stamped the Dapper Denim pocket with the gorgeous flowers from the Wood Words stamp set and heat embossed using Copper Embossing Powder.
I used the same stamp on the Crumb Cake pocket, stamping with Dapper Denim ink and colouring with a white gel pen.
And a little Dapper Denim ribbon on the side to add an extra touch.
This is just one of the many wonderful stamp sets available in the Annual Catalogue. You can view it by clicking on the cover image in the left tool bar.
