Stamparatus 101!

Stampin Up ® Stamparatus

 Class no. 2

Stamparatus®

Item #148187
$85.00

I have had quite a few requests for another class to showcase more techniques using the Stampin Up ® Stamparatus.
This is a fantastic tool with many different applications.

For this Class we used with the All Adorned Stamp set, which is one of the Second Release Sale-a-bration items FREE with every $90 ordered.

The first card, CASEd from Erica Cerwin, used Balmy Blue cardstock, and Night of Navy ink. Using the small grid paper made especially for the Stamparatus as a guide, we rotated the card, leaving the stamp in the same place on the clear plate to stamp each corner. We then stamped the greeting on Whisper White and used a gold foil edging to make it pop.

Do you spot a new stamp set?  It's from More than Words, a new stamp set designed for SAB coordination that will be available for purchase in March.

The next card overlapped two of the images from All Adorned, one using Smoky Slate ink, and the other Merry Merlot. The card front is Smokey Slate and the sentiment from the Hello Cup Cake set in Sale-a-bration (first release) is stamped in Merry Merlot, with the ribbon coming from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue.  We used the Stamparatus hinge step which allows you to move the plate down the hinges and evenly space the pattern.

We moved on to make a gift tag using Pumpkin Pie cardstock, and the Scalloped Tag Topper, from the Annual Catalogue. Using the Jar of Love stamp set, we stamped the jar, the lid and the fish, with the water inside using Bermuda Bay ink.  These are so quick to make, and are really eye catching to add to any gift.

The next technique was the reflective images from the This Little Piggy stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. We used the Silicone Craft Sheet (page 213 of the Annual Catalogue) to stamp the image onto,  then flipped it over so that it became the 'stamp' and stamped  a 'reflection' of the 'real' pig.
We coloured the pigs using the Stampin Blends.

The last technique, allowed us to stamp a multicoloured image on to the card base.  Because the stamp lands in exactly the same place, ink can be added in different shades and touch ups can be made.
We used the All Things Thanks stamp set and coloured it in Melon Mambo, Mango Melody and Calypso Coral, for a bright thank you card.
The ribbon is the Melon Mambo 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon, and of course we used Rhinestones to add some bling.   Garden Impressions DSP was the inspiration for the colour choices and it provided the background for the Whisper White piece.

I run regular classes on the Gold Coast.  Beginner, casual and avid crafters are all welcome!  Contact me for more information.
